Posteriormente, en una entrevista con The Sunday Times, Gallagher declaró: “Por mucho que me guste Mariah Carey y todo eso, quiero decir: háganme un favor y váyanse a la mierda. El 12 de febrero se anunciaron los nominados para la inducción al Salón de la Fama del Rock and Roll de este año, con 14 nuevos nombres agregados a la lista, incluidos Oasis, New Order, Cyndi Lauper, Mariah Carey, The White Stripes y Soundgarden, entre otros. La votación de los fans ya está abierta y los finalistas se revelarán en abril.
