Estrenada localmente en Univisión, America y The Big Channel, este anime que continúa estando alojado en la memoria de los fans de los 90 revive gracias a un side-scroller.
La empresa de videojuegos alemana Blast Zero anunció la llegada de un videojuego titulado Samurai Pizza Cats. Blast From the Past. El jugador podrá a elegir a cualquiera de los tres protagonistas, Speedy, Guido y Polly para atravesar los desafíos que propone el Pequeño Tokyo.
Si bien el juego no llegará en audio latino, estará disponible en inglés. Hace treinta años se desarrolló para la NES el Kyatto Ninden Teyandee de la empresa Sotsu, el cual fue lanzado en 1991.
De momento no tiene fecha de estreno. Sin embargo, desde la compañía germana precisaron que llegará en el 2026 para PC, Nintendo Switch y Playstation 5.
Los Gatos Samurai es una serie de 54 episodios animada por Tatsunoko, la misma compañía que hizo lo propio para Macross (acá conocida como Robotech). Contó con un doblaje realizado en México. La versión que llegó al continente es una adaptación realizada por la empresa Saban (si, la misma de los Power Rangers), motivo por el cual le cortaron escenas violentas para hacerlo más asimilable para los más chicos.
Kyatto Ninden Teyandee es traducible a La leyenda de los gatos ninja teyandee o La Leyenda del Sorprendente Grupo Ninja. Fun fact: Nunca vimos a los protagonistas sin armaduras.
